(At the Metro, the train pulls up to a stop. Ash, his team, the eleven girls, Genevieve, and Pepito quickly exit.)

Ash Ketchum: Come on! This way!

Pikachu: Pikachu!

(They all follow Ash and Pikachu to the same stairway Madeline and Henri entered through. Genevieve begins sniffing out something.)

Pepito: Look, she is tracking something.

Velma Dinkley: A clue?

Bugs Bunny: A hint?

Daffy Duck: A lead?

Misty: A scent?

(But Pepito stops at a puddle.)

Pepito: Aww, the rain washed away the trail.

Danielle: What now?

Chloe: We cannot lose hope. Madeline would never do that.

Nicole: But which way do we look?

Ash Ketchum: Pikachu and I saw her walk by here with Henri yesterday. Right when they exited the train.

Genevieve: Rroo? (barks)

Daphne Blake: What is it, Genevieve?

Genevieve: (runs up the stairs and finds a bead)

Shaggy Rogers: It looks like she's found a clue.

Pepito: (picks up the bead) What is this, a bead with a swan?

Brock: It's one of Madeline's necklace beads!

Chloe: Oui, Brock, it is Madeline's!

Danielle: Her Mama's necklace!

Ash Ketchum: Wait a minute. I do recall seeing Madeline dropping these beads while following them yesterday! She must've done that to leave a trail for us to follow and find her!

Misty: Well, come on! Let's find some more!

(The kids and Genevieve walk up. Nicole picks up another bead.)

Nicole: Ah! Here's another!

Pepito: (picks up bead) Look, I found one too!

(Misty picks up another bead.)

Bugs Bunny: Here's another!

Daffy Duck: And another!

Genie: I've found another one!

Pepito: Which way now?

Girls and Heroes: Hmm.

Brock: Oh, man, there's no more beads!

Narrator: The long trail of beads had now come to an end. No more clues could be seen on the ground without any new leads to their missing friend. How was Madeline going to be found?

Nicole: Ooh-la-la, marbles!

Danielle: Non, non. this is no time to play.

Misty: Yeah, we're in the middle of searching for Madeline.

Nicole: But look! (picks up bead) Exactly, like--

Ash Ketchum: Like the beads from Madeline's necklace.

Boy: (angrily) Hey! What are you doing?! (takes the bead) We've found them!

Pepito: Where?

Boy: Over there!

Misty: Those beads are not for you boys to play with. 

Boy: Then what are we supposed to play with now?

Nicole: I will handle this, Misty. (takes out her bag of marbles) Trade.

Chloe: Nicole.

Danielle: Your precious marbles?!

Misty: Are you sure you know what you're doing, Nicole?

Nicole: Oui, Misty. I must for Madeline.

Boy: Deal: (giggles)

Misty: Good job, Nicole.

Ash Ketchum: Yes, very good. Now, come on! We've got to go save Madeline!

(Everyone resumes their desperate search for Madeline.)
