Alan: (shouting) You won't! I'm never talking to you again!

(Sam slams the door and Alan angrily tears the brochure as Ash and his friends sigh sadly while feeling sorry for him.)

(The scene changes where Peter and Judy eat dinner and Nora walks in.)

Nora: (frustrated) I can't believe I have to see your principal after your first day. What I'm I gonna do? (calmly) Now, let's just try to relax and finish our dinner. Talk about something else.

Judy: Well, we found out why you got this house so cheap. 26 years ago a kid named Alan Parish used to live here. Then one day he just disappeared. Because his parents chopped him up and hid him in the walls.

Nora: (angrily) Okay, that's it. I am sick and tired of your lies, young lady. You're grounded.

(Judy gets upset and leaves.)

Judy: Fine, there's nowhere to go in this stupid town. anyway. But just for your information it wasn't a lie.

(Judy goes upstairs.)

Judy: (reading the riddle) "A tiny bite can make you itch, make you sneeze, make you twitch."

(Just then, the mosquitos arrive which caused Judy, Ash and friends to scream and duck down.)

Misty: (screams) Mosquitos!

(The heroes stay down as Judy swats the mosquitos with a tennis racket and then they fly out the window.)

Heroes: (all sigh)

(Peter rolls the dice which landed on snake eyes.)

Judy: Don't! (sighs)

(Peter's piece which is a monkey moves two spaces)

Peter: (reading the riddle) "This will not be an easy mission, monkeys slow the expedition."

Alan is released from Jumanji[edit | edit source]

Peter: (rolls the dice) Five. (The monkey piece moves five spaces) (reading the riddle) "His fangs are sharp. He likes your taste. Your party better move poste haste."

Alan: Are you my little sister?

Judy: No. I'm Judy and he's Peter.

Alan: Where's Mom? Is Dad at the factory?

Car escape from mosquitos/Alan washes up[edit | edit source]

Judy: Ready?

Peter: Yeah.

???: Hey, Alan, are you ready?

Alan: There is no ready.

(Judy rolls the dice but nothing happened.)

Judy: I'll try again. (rolls the dice again but her piece doesn't move) Guys, it's not working.

Ash Ketchum: Uh, I don't think it's your turn, Judy.

Judy: Yeah, I rolled first then Peter twice 'cause he got doubles now it's my turn again.

Alan: No, look. Two of those pieces are yours right? Who's the other pieces? (touches the elephant piece) The elephant was mine. You're playing the game I started in 1969. I'm gonna have to play. (Judy gives Alan the dice) It's not my turn.

Judy: Who's turn is it?

Alan: Sarah Whittle.

Sarah's move/They grow much faster than bamboo[edit | edit source]

Sarah Whittle: (reading the riddle) "They grow much faster than bamboo. Take care or they'll come after you."

Enter Van Pelt[edit | edit source]

Sarah Whittle: Anybody up for iced tea? I'm gonna make some tea.

Pikachu: Pika!

Ash Ketchum: Come on, Alan! We gotta run!

Van Pelt: Ha! You boys can run but you can't hide!

Stampede/Pelican steals the game[edit | edit source]

Judy: (reading the riddle) "Don't be fooled, it isn't thunder. Staying put would be a blunder."

Alan: Run! It's a stampede!

Sarah: Come on.

Alan: The game! (quickly grabs the game)

(then breaking out from behind the bookshelf came a stampeding herd of rhinos, elephants, zebras, and pelicans)

Alan: Don't look back!

(A pelican approaches the group squawking at them.)

Alan: (yells)

???: Amscray, you stupid bird!

(The pelican grabs the game.)

Alan: Not the game!

(The pelican flys away with the game.)

???: Oh, no!

???: That pelican just took the game!

Alan: Why didn't you grab the game, Peter?!

Alan arrested/Peter cheats[edit | edit source]

Carl Bentley: Hey!

(Ash and his friends gasp upon seeing Carl.)

Ash Ketchum: Uh-oh!

Brock: Oh, no!

Cera: Oh, great, we are so busted.

Alan: (whispers, to Peter) Hide the game.

Carl Bentley: (sternly) I don't believe this. Every time there's trouble, I run into you.

Heroes: What?!

Pikachu: Pika?!

Alan: Me? I don't know what you're talking about.

Carl Bentley: All right. I'm taking you in for questioning.

Alan: I'm not going anywhere! (gets handcuffed)

Carl Bentley: All right.

Littlefoot: Officer, please don't take our friend away.

Ducky: He hasn't done anything wrong.

Carl Bentley: (sternly) I suggest you all go home now.

Heroes: Yes, officer.

Pikachu: Pikachu.

Alan: Okay.

Judy: Now, how are we supposed to finish the game?

Sarah: We can't.

???: Yeah. we can't finish the game without him.

Peter: Judy! Guys!

Judy: What?

Littlefoot: What's wrong, Peter?

Sarah: What happened?

Peter: I thought I could end the game myself I was only ten spaces away.

Judy: "A law of Jumanji having been broken. You will slip back even more than your token."

Sarah: You tried to cheat?

Peter: No, I tried to drop the dice so they'd land on 12.

Ash Ketchum: I see, but Peter, that's cheating.

Judy: (gasps) Peter, your hands!

Ash Ketchum: Look at your hands!

(Peter looks at the monkey fur growing on his hands.)

Chaos at the store[edit | edit source]

Misty: Get your hands off Sarah, buster! (Stomps on Van's foot really hard)

(Peter growls and bites Van Pelt's leg which caused him to groan in pain.)

Brock: Sarah, run!

Judy:(grabs the scanner) Price check!

(He groans as Judy blinds him with a scanner, then the "No Sale" message appears on the cashier.)

Ash Ketchum: OK, Pikachu shock that hunter!

Van Pelt: (gasps in horror) Oh no!

Pikachu: Pika!!! Pika....chuuuuuuuuu!!!

Monsoon/Crocodile attack[edit | edit source]

Sarah: (reading the riddle) "Every month at the quarter moon, there'll be a monsoon in your lagoon." Monsoon? Well, at least we're inside.

Alan: Yeah, right.

(Thunder clap is heard and then it began to rain.)

???: It's raining inside!

???: This is really weird!

Sarah: Well, a little rain never hurt anybody.

Alan: Yeah, but a lot can kill you.

Spiders/Earthquake[edit | edit source]

Alan: (reading the riddle) "Beware the ground on which you stand, the floor is quicker than the sand."

Peter: (reading the riddle) "Need a hand? Why, you just wait. We'll help you out, we each have eight."

(Just then, the spider arrive.)

Misty: Ewww, spiders!

Alan wins the game/Back to 1969[edit | edit source]

Van Pelt: Don't move. (Comes in the living room covered in paint) Stand up. What's in your hand. Drop it. (Alan drops the dice and the first one lands on one while the other one rolls down the stairs) End of the line, Sonny Jim. Game's up. Start running.

Alan: No.

Van Pelt: Aren't you afraid?

Alan: I'm terrified . But my father told me, you should always face what you're afraid of.

Van Pelt: Good lad. You're finally acting like a man. Any last words?

(the other die finally stops rolling and lands on two and Alan's piece moves to the crystal ball with Jumanji appearing on it)

Alan: (whispering) Jumanji.

Van Pelt: Huh?

Alan: It's Jumanji (Van Pelt prepares to shoot)

Sarah: No, Alan, no!

(But because Alan won the game, everything that came out of it gets forcibly sucked back into game, including Van Pelt)
