==Beast saves Belle from the wolves/Gaston's Plan/Library/"Something There"== - - - - - - - - - - - - - - (A thunderbolt zaps the wolf before it could attack Belle.) '''Ash Ketchum:''' Here we are, Belle! '''Misty:''' We're coming! '''Bagheera:''' Don't move! '''Jack Skellington:''' Stay right there! - - - '''Misty:''' There's so many of them! '''Brock''': We can't keep fighting them like this! - - (Back with Belle, she attempts to defend her horse from the wolves. But one grabs her stick and snaps in into two. Another grabs Belle's cloak and one prepares to pounce on her. Before it could jump onto her, a familiar giant paw grabs the wolf and pulls it away from her. It turned out to be none other than the Beast! He roars at the wolf, attracting the attention from Ash and his friends and interrupting their fight against the other wolves.) Heroes: (gasps in surprise upon seeing the Beast's sudden appearance) Pikachu: (surprised) Pika?! (The Beast throws the wolf away and turns to the other wolves. The Beast, though outnumbered, wasn't going to let them hurt Belle in any way. He charged and engaged in a big fight with them. One wolf jumped onto him and tore into his body. The wolves lunged themselves onto him, focusing on the wound. Beast roared and growled as he brawled with the predators. Belle watched in horror as the beast fiercely defended her from the wolves. As for Ash and the gang, though stunned at first, they were amazed with the Beast's tremendous strength and incredible assistance in defending Belle. With that, they continue the battle against the wolves. The fight ends when the Beast threw the alpha wolf to a tree, knocking it out. With that, the other wolves finally retreated into the woods, not wanting to risk further injury.) Ash Ketchum: (pants heavily; relieved) Phew! Glad that's over! Pikachu: (relieved) Pika, Pika... Cera: Um, guys.... (points to the Beast) (The wolves were gone, but Beast was injured from this attack. There were some big scratches on his right arm. He looked at Belle before going unconscious.) Shaggy Rogers: Zoinks! Grandma Longneck: Oh, dear! Is he alright? Brock: (checks his pulse and his heartbeat) He has a pulse, but it's slightly weak. And he needs proper treatment for the wounds he's received from his fight. Bugs Bunny: So, what do we do with him now? Should we at least help him? Daffy Duck: Yeah, we can't leave him like this. Can we? Littlefoot: Well..., he did help us save Belle. So,...I guess we should at least return the favor. Misty: Littlefoot's right, you guys. We do owe him for helping us defend Belle from the wolves. Let's take him back to the castle. Belle: (sighs) Alright. (Belle takes off her cloak and wraps it around the unconscious beast. The group later mounts the beast onto Phillippe, and they head back to the castle. Later, we see Mrs. Potts pouring warm water in a bowl and Belle wetting a cloth. She rings in out and the Beast attempts to clean his wound by licking it like an animal.) *'''Belle''': Here, now. Oh, don't do that. (The Beast growls angrily. Everyone backs away in fright.) *'''Belle''': Just hold still. *'''Beast''': (roars loudly in pain) That hurts!! *'''Belle''': If you hold still, it wouldn't hurt as much! *'''Beast''': Well if you hadn't run away, this wouldn't have happened. *'''Belle''': If you hadn't frightened me, I wouldn't have run away! (Ash gasps in realization. Then his shock turns to anger.) *'''Beast''': (pauses) Well, you shouldn't have been in the West Wing! *'''Belle''': Well, you should learn to control your temper! *'''Ash Ketchum''': So, that's what this was all about! Belle ran away because you lashed out at her when she wanted to take a look in the West Wing! Well, let me tell you one thing, Mr. Master of the Castle! I, for one, am agreeing with Belle on this! You really need to adjust that attitude of yours and keep that explosive temper under control! *'''Pikachu''': (angry) Pikachu! *'''Littlefoot, Misty, and Ash's gang''': (chatter angrily in agreement) (Scooby-Doo and Pluto growl and bark angrily at the beast for scaring Belle out of the West Wing and for recklessly endangering her in the first place. But they were immediately held back by both Shaggy and Mickey because of the current condition he's in right now.) '''Bagheera''' You ought to be ashamed of yourself for scaring Belle and for endangering her like that! And from the looks of the condition you're in, it serves you right! I hope that'll teach you a lesson in letting your tempers get the best of you! '''Grandma Longneck''': Yes, indeed! '''Grandpa Longneck''': Absolutely! '''Mickey Mouse''': That's right! '''Jack Skellington''': I couldn't agree more! '''Bugs Bunny''': You big bully! '''Daffy Duck''': You cranky, old grouch in the chair! '''Littlefoot''': You crabby, old sourpuss! '''Misty''': You salty, old crab! '''Genie''': That's right! Shame on you! '''Brock''': The only one whose to be blamed for this incident around here is you. (Lumiere, Cogsworth, Mrs. Potts, Fifi, and Chip come out worried. Beast tried bringing up a good point but couldn't find one. So, he just slumped in annoyance.) '''Belle:''' Now, hold still. This might sting a little. '''Beast:''' Hmm? (Belle gently places the wet towel on Beast's arm) '''Beast:''' (grunts) '''Baloo:''' Easy there, big guy. Don't strain yourself. '''Belle:''' By the way, thank you for saving my life. (Beast was surprised) '''Beast:''' You're welcome. (Ash and the gang backed away and left the room, leaving Belle alone with the Beast.) '''Misty:''' Phew! For a moment there, I thought he was gonna have another rage. '''Littlefoot:''' Well, at least Belle got over her fear of his temper tantrums. Looks like they're starting to get along. '''Mrs. Potts:''' (sighs) I am dreadfully sorry about what the master did, darlings. The master really does have a temper problem. '''Cogsworth:''' But please understand. He wasn't always like this when he was a young lad. '''Ash Ketchum:''' What do you mean not always? '''Lumiere:''' You see when the master was little, his mother felt very ill and passed away. '''Brock:''' He must have took it really hard. '''Cogsworth:''' Indeed he did, then his heart hated father took that kind young lad and... twisted him up to be just like him. '''Misty:''' That must have been harsh. '''Ash Ketchum:''' So, you guys were under a spell? I kinda heard your conversation a few hours ago. '''Cogsworth:''' Yes, that's right. And- Hey, wait a minute. You were eavesdropping on our conversation with the master during dinner? '''Ash Ketchum''': Well, yeah, but Velma here said to me that there was something more to the Beast than what Belle, her father and the rest of us already knew. She believed that the Beast may not be as monstrous as we thought he was. And, although I never wanted to believe her at first, I didn't have a choice but to go find clues to see whether if she was right. - ???: It was the enchantress. '''Lumiere:''' It seems so long ago... '''Mrs. Potts:''' It was as cold winter's night, an old beggar woman came to the castle, and asked for shelter if he accepted a rose. '''Cogsworth:''' But the master, that is of course the prince, refused the accept her offer and turned her away due to her ugly appearance. '''Lumiere''': Though she warned him to not be deceived by appearances. For true beauty is found from within. And when he arrogantly dismissed her again, she immediately vanished and then revealed herself as the magical enchantress in disguise. '''Heroes''': Whoa....! '''Mrs. Potts''': Our master was terrified at how powerful she was. For he had never seen anything like her before. He desperately tried to redeem himself by apologizing for his cruelty, but it was too late. She had already seen the cold-heartedness inside of him and that there was no love inside has heart. '''Cogsworth''': And as punishment for his actions, she used her powers to transform him into the beastly creature you see before you. And then she placed a powerful spell onto us, the rest of the staff, and the entire castle. '''Misty''': Oh, my... '''Jack Skellington''': Oh, how dreadful... '''Jiminy Cricket''': Oh, that's-that's terrible. '''Bagheera''': What a pity... '''Baloo''': You said it. '''Daphne Blake''': But this isn't fair! You guys didn't have to pay the price for the master's mistakes. '''Fred Jones''': Yeah, why didn't the enchantress thought about sparing you guys and the rest of the staff in the first place? '''Lumiere''': (sighs sadly) That we don't know. Anyway, due to how monstrous his new appearance is, the master concealed himself inside the castle with a magic mirror. And he uses it as the only window to the outside world. '''Mrs. Potts''': And the rose she wanted to offer him was truly an enchanted rose. For it will remain in bloom for many years until his 21st birthday. '''Shaggy Rogers''': His 21st birthday? '''Brock''': Is there a way to break the spell? '''Cogsworth''': Well, there is one way to prevent the spell from becoming permanent. And that is if the master could learn to love another and earn one's love in return before the rose's last petal falls. '''Ash Ketchum''': You've gotta be kidding me?! You mean the master only has very limited time to earn someone's love in return before the rose loses its last petal?! Or else the spell will be permanent?! '''Mrs. Potts''': I'm afraid so, dear. '''Heroes''': (gasps in horror and look at each other in worry) '''Grandma Longneck''': Oh my goodness! This is serious, children. '''Grandpa Longneck''': Indeed. - - '''Beast:''' Hey, kid. '''Ash Ketchum:''' Hmm? Beast: Come here. (Ash felt hesitant as he gulped) Don't worry I won't bite. (Ash nervously stared at the servants and his friends.) Lumiere: It's all right, lad. The master's not going to harm you. (Ash walks up to the beast.) '''Beast:''' (sighs) You and your friends were right about me. My temper was out of control. And... I'm really sorry. - '''Ash Ketchum:''' Hey, uh, about saving Belle from the wolf attack in the forest, thanks for your help. '''Beast:''' Hmm.... No problem. - - - - - - - - - - - - - (At the tavern) '''Monsieur D'Arque:''' I don't usually leave the asylum in the middle of the night, but he said you'd make it worth my while. (Gaston gives out a bag of gold) '''Monsieur D'Arque:''' Ah. I'm listening. '''Gaston:''' It's like this. I've got my heart set on marrying Belle, but she needs a little persuasion. '''Lefou:''' (snickers) Turned him down flat. (But then gets hit by Gaston to his cup of beer) '''Gaston:''' Everyone knows her father's a lunatic. He was here tonight raving about a beast in a castle. '''Monsieur D'Arque:''' Maurice is harmless. '''Gaston:''' The point is, Belle would do anything to keep him from being locked up. '''Jessie:''' But why did you bring us here for? '''James:''' Yeah, what's the catch? '''Scar''': That is if you got one. '''Gaston:''' Well, you guys are the best I could find. Plus there are some meddlesome brats and few others I want ''taken'' care of. In return, I'll pay you guys... (presents another bag of gold) handsomely. Villains: (interested) Ooh. '''Meowth:''' Oh, really? '''James:''' Can you describe them, please? '''Gaston:''' Well, there's this boy in a red hat, a girl in shorts, and this other boy with squinty eyes. Along with '''Meowth:''' A boy in a red hat? Pete: A girl in shorts? Grand Duke of Owls: And another boy with squinty eyes? Oogie Boogie: With dinosaurs? Cecil: Four kids with a talking dog? Shere Khan: Vultures? - - '''Jessie:''' Oh, you mean Ash Ketchum and his twerpy friends! ???: Along with that puny dinosaur Littlefoot and his friends! - - - '''Gaston:''' That's them alright. They're trying to stop me and they're ruining my plans on marrying Belle. Unless I throw them and her father into the asylum! Oogie Boogie: Hold it, pretty boy! King Bowser doesn’t like having his enemies either killed or locked up somewhere that isn’t his castle’s dungeon. Gaston: And you’re right. Grand Duke of Owls: He is, is he? And your point is? '''Gaston:''' The point is, Belle would do anything to keep them from being in Bowser's claws. '''Lefou:''' (gets the cup of his face and chuckles) Yeah, even marry him. (Gaston gives him the threat look as Lefou cover his head with his cup in fear) '''Monsiuer D'Arque:''' So, you want me to throw her father into the asylum, unless she agrees to marry you. '''Jessie:''' And you want us to deal with the twerps and their friends, so they don't get in the way, don't you? (Gaston gives them the evil smirking look, while Lefou nods in confirmation.) '''Monsiuer D'Arque:''' Oh! That is despicable. (laughs evilly) I love it. '''Jessie:''' Me too! '''James:''' Same here! '''Meowth:''' Well, what're we standing around here then? Let's go get 'em! ???: Right! (to Gaston) Now, where can we find them? (At Belle and her father's house) '''Maurice:''' If no one will help me, then I'll go back alone. Yes, that is everything. I don't care what it takes! I'll find that castle and somehow, I... I'll get her and the others out of there. (He shuts the door and leaves. After he left, Gaston, Lefou, D'Arque, and the villains arrive to his house. Gaston comes into the house) '''Gaston:''' Belle? Maurice?! '''Jessie:''' ''Prepare for....'' ''(there's no one around)'' trouble? '''James:''' Where is everyone? '''Meowth:''' There's nobody home! '''Lefou:''' Oh, well. (laughs) I guess it's not gonna work after all. (But then Gaston grabs him from the neck) '''Gaston:''' They have to come back sometime. And when they do, we'll be ready for them. Lefou,... ''(drops Lefou to a pile of snow'') ...don't move from that spot until Belle and her father come home. [turns to Team Rocket] And you three will stay with Lefou as well. '''Jessie:''' What?! You mean out here? (shivers) In the cold?! '''Gaston:''' Yes. '''James:''' You've gotta be kidding! We'll freeze out here! '''Meowth:''' Yeah! You can't be serious! ???: Hey, better you three than any of us. Meowth: Uh, could you at least spare us some scarfs or something warm for us to wear? '''Gaston:''' Until Belle and her father return home, along with that Ketchum kid and his friends, you're not going anywhere!!! '''Pete''': So, for now, see you later and have fun! (He, D'Arque, Oogie Boogie, Pete, Shere Khan, Scar, The Grand Duke of Owls laugh wickedly as they leave) '''Lefou:''' But... But we... [But to his disappointment they left] Ah, nuts. [smacks the wheel and get piled in by snow] '''Meowth:''' (sticks his head out of the snow) Well, that's just great. (Back on Beast's castle Belle is playing in the snow with Phillipe and the footstool. Beast, Cogsworth, Lumiere, Ash and his friends watch from the balcony. Fade to ext of castle. Belle is playing in the snow with Phillipe and Sultan. Beast, Cogsworth and Lumière watch from the balcony). '''Beast''': I've never felt this way about anyone. (Looks excited) I want to do something for her. (Looks discouraged.) But what? '''Cogsworth''': Well, there's the usual things--flowers, chocolates, promises you don't intend to keep... '''Lumière''': Ahh, no no. It has to be something very special. Something that sparks her interest. '''Velma Dinkley''': Hmm.... (gasps) You know, Lumière, there is one thing in her life she seems to enjoy. And I think I might have an idea. (whispers in his ear as she explains her idea) '''Lumière''': Oh, ho, ho, ho, ho! Se magnifique! That is genius! Let's give it a try! No? Oui! (he and Velma chuckle) (Cut to int hallway leading to library. Beast and Belle are alone.) '''Beast''': Belle, there's something I want to show you. (Begins to open the door, then stops.) But first, you have to close your eyes. (She looks at him questioningly.) *'''Beast''': It's a surprise. (Belle closes her eyes, and Beast waves his hand in front of her. Then he opens the door. He leads her in.) *'''Belle''': (Just as she enters the room) Can I open them? *'''Beast''': No, no. Not yet. Wait here. (Beast walks away to draw back the curtains. He does, and brilliant sunlight spills into the room. Belle flinches reflexively as the light hits her face.) *'''Belle''': Now can I open them? *'''Beast''': All right. Now. (Belle opens her eyes and the camera pulls back to reveal the gigantic library filled with books.) *'''Belle''': I can't believe it. I've never seen so many books in all my life! *'''Beast''': You--you like it? *'''Belle''': It's wonderful. *'''Beast''': Then it's yours. *'''Beast''': Oh, thank you so much. (Cut to Belle and Beast in bkgd, with our heroes and the enchanted objects including Chip in foreground watching them.) *'''Mrs. Potts''': Oh, would you look at that? *'''Daphne Blake''': Jeepers! *'''Brock:''' She likes it! *'''Fred Jones''': Velma, that was a brilliant idea! Having the Beast surprise Belle with the castle library was pure genius! *'''Lumière''': Ha ha! We knew it would work. *'''Chip''': What? What works? *'''Cogsworth''': It's very encouraging. *'''Fifi''': Isn't this exciting? *'''Misty''': It sure is! *'''Bagheera''': Well, come on, everyone let's go! We've got lots to do if we want to help break the spell! *'''Littlefoot''': Oh, yes! *'''Cera''': Couldn't agree more! *'''Jack Skellington''': Absolutely! *'''Grandpa Longneck''': Let's get to work everyone! *'''Chip''': I didn't see anything. *'''Mrs. Potts''': Come along, Chip. There's chores to be done in the kitchen. *'''Chip''': But what are they talking about? What's going on? Come on, Mama! *'''Baloo''': (chuckles) You'll see, Chip. You'll see. (Our heroes and the objects walk away. Fade to breakfast table with Belle at one end and Beast at the other, with Mrs. Potts between them. Belle is served breakfast, and as she begins to eat, she looks at Beast, gobbling up his food with no table manners whatsoever. Our heroes along with Mrs. Potts and Chip are a bit embarrassed, and they stare at Belle with worried looks. As Belle thought to herself, Chip gave Beast a spoon. Beast, hoping that he didn't intimidate Belle like before, picked up the spoon and tried eating his breakfast like her. But this was also proving difficult. He still acted a little animalistic. Chip chuckled a little at his way of eating but was silenced by her mother. Ash facepalmed in embarrassment and is comforted by Misty. But Velma came up with another idea and tells it to Belle in whisper. She smiles as she likes the idea. She puts down her spoon and lifts her bowl. Beast knew where she was going and did the same. This time, it paid off. Both friends were sipping their breakfast with no silverware, but they found a compromise, something that made the servants and our heroes very proud. Fade to courtyard where Belle and Beast are feeding the birds.) :'''[Belle]''' ::There's something sweet ::And almost kind ::But he was mean :: And he was coarse and unrefined. ::But now he's dear :: And so unsure, :: I wonder why I didn't see it there before. (Belle is trying to attract some birds to Beast, who shoves a handful of seed at them. Finally, she takes a handful and gently spreads it out, creating a trail. One lands in his hands, and he looks up thrilled.) :'''[Beast]''' ::She glanced this way ::I thought I saw ::And when we touched :: She didn't shudder at my paw ::No it can't be ::I'll just ignore ::But then she's never looked at me that way before. (Belle has ducked around a tree, leaving Beast with the birds. She begins to look doubtful again but turns her head around the tree and laughs. Beast is covered with birds.) :'''[Belle]''' ::New, and a bit alarming ::Who'd have ever thought that this could be? ::True, that he's no Prince Charming ::But there's something in him that I simply didn't see. (Belle throws a snowball at Beast, who had looked at her proudly after the birds flew away. He begins to gather a large pile of snow. We cut to our heroes and the objects, looking out of a window and watch the two play together. In the background, Belle throws another snowball at Beast, who drops his huge pile of snow on his head. He chases her around a tree, but she ducks around the other side and sneaks up on him from behind.) :'''[Lumière]''' ::Well, who'd have thought? :'''[Mrs. Potts]''' ::Well, bless my soul. :'''[Cogsworth]''' ::And who'd have known? :'''[Mrs. Potts]''' ::Well, who indeed? :'''[Lumière]''' ::And who'd have guessed they'd come together on their own? :'''[Mrs. Potts]''' ::It's so peculiar :'''[ALL]''' ::We'll wait and see ::A few days more ::There may be something there that wasn't there before (Fade to den where Belle sits in front of a roaring fire and reads to Beast. Our heroes and the objects inc. Chip watch from doorway) :'''[Cogsworth]''' Yes, perhaps there's something there that wasn't there before. *'''Chip''': What? :'''[Mrs. Potts]''' ::There may be something there that wasn't there before. *'''Chip''': What's there, mama? *'''Mrs. Potts''': I'll tell you when you're older. (kisses Chip)
