*(Rajah felt confused upon hearing it while Jasmine sighs in frustration and then she goes to the dove cage and opens the door setting them free.)

(The scene changes where Sultan goes to his storage room.)

* Sultan: I don't know where she gets it from. Her mother wasn't nearly so picky. (just then, Jafar appeared) Ooh, oh. Ah, Jafar, my trusted advisor. I am in desperate need of your wisdom.

* Sultan: It's this suitor business. Jasmine refuses to choose a husband. I'm at my wit's end.
* Iago: Awk! Wit's end!
* Sultan: (chuckles) Have a cracker, pretty Polly. (puts a cracker into Iago's mouth)
* Jafar: Your majesty certainly has a way with dumb animals. (Iago angrily glares at him) Now then, perhaps I can divine a solution to this thorny problem.
* Sultan: If anyone can help, that's you.
* Jafar: Ah, but it would require the use of mystic blue diamond.
* Sultan: Oh, uh, my ring? But it's been in the family for years.
* Jafar: It is necessary to find the princess a suitor. (leans his staff into Sultan's eyes hypnotizing him) Don't worry. Everything will be fine.

(The pair pass through a door and slam it shut. Diss. to ext. gardens at night. A shadowy figure walks through. We see it is Jasmine in disguise. She reaches the palace wall, then begins to climb it. She is tugged from behind by Rajah.)
*'''Rajah''': (growls in sadness as he tugs Jasmine's cloak)
*'''Jasmine''': Oh, I'm sorry, Rajah. But I can't stay here and have my life lived for me. I'll miss you. (hugs her beloved tiger and climbs back up the wall with Rajah's help)
*'''Rajah''': (purrs and whines)
*'''Jasmine''': (whispers) Good-bye!
(Rajah whimpers in sadness.)
