*Goofy: Hello, little guy. Nice to meet ya.
*Ash Ketchum: Pikachu likes you. He likes meeting new people. However, he can be hostile to those who cross him.
*Brock: So, where are you going anyway?
*Goofy: I'm going on a vacation.
*Max: Cool, well, have a good time, Dad. If you're gonna be gone more than a month drop me a line.
*Goofy: But, Max, this isn't just my vacation. It's a vacation with me and my best buddy.
*Max: Donald Duck?
*Goofy: No, silly with you.
*(Max becomes shocked and faints.)
*Rex: Max?
*Goofy: Are you okay, Maxie?
*Ash Ketchum: Max, what's wrong?
*Max: Huh, what did you say?
*Bugs Bunny: Eh, did you just say a vacation?
*Goofy: That's right! A vacation, guys! We'll spend some real quality time together.
*Max: I think I'm gonna be sick.
*Goofy: Hey, I got a present for ya. (rapidly puts an inflatable life vest on Max)
*Max: (while Goofy rapidly puts an inflatable life vest on him) No, Dad, stop that! Let go of me! Hey! What are you doing?! (his dad inflates the life vest, making Max uncomfortable)
*Goofy: You look just like I did at your age.
*Max: Please don't say that, Dad.
*Goofy: Wait, I've saved the best for last. It's been handed down from Goof to Goof to Goof and now it's yours, son.
*Max: A stick?
*Goofy: No, silly, a fishing pole.
*Max: Fishing?! We're going fishing?!
*Goofy: Yep, just like my dad and me did. Two best buddies fishing on Lake Destiny away from it all.
*Max: I don't want to be away from it all, Dad. I like it all.
*Goofy: Hey, look, Maxie. We're using the same map me and my dad used. We'll take the same routes and make the same stops and see the same sights.
*Max: (groans) But, that trip wil take weeks, Dad.
*Goofy: Exactly! Getting there is the half the fun.
*Max: Put the map away, Dad. It's not gonna happen.
*Goofy: Careful, son, you'll wrinkle my past and our future. But the map says "We will follow."
*Max: That's mystical and everything, Dad. But, uh, seriously there's this party I have to go to--
*Goofy: Oh, there'll be plenty of time for parties when you're older, Maxie. Why, when I was your age, I've never even been invited to a party. Look at me now.
*Max: Great, Dad.
*Goofy: Hop in, Maxie.
*Max: No.
*Goofy: All right, then. I guess I'll have to go all alone that's all. Just sit in the boat, all alone. Talk to myself, all alone.
*Max: I guess so.
*Goofy: (upset it didn’t work) Oh, come on! Hop on!
*Max: No, Dad!
*Goofy: Just, hop right in here!
*Max: No!
*Goofy: Come on, Maxie! Go for it!<br />
