A Pooh Day Afternoon

A Bird in the Hand is the seventy-first episode of Ash Ketchum and The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh.

Plot

When an adult Kessie returns to the Hundred-Acre Wood, Rabbit still treats her like a fledgling. When Kessie tries to prove that she is an adult, she runs away, but gets kidnapped by Stan and Heff, who demand honey for her release. But when Rabbit, Pooh, Piglet, and Tigger try to find her, they end up getting captured as well. Luckily, an unexpected, masked hero steps in and helps save the day.

• The lesson for the episode: Sometimes it's okay to accept the fact that children grow up.
• Ash helps Kessie save Pooh Bear and his friends by masquerading as an imaginary creature that Stan and Heff believe in called the "great heffalump."
• Misty and Brock are absent in this episode since Ash and Pikachu appeared to have gone grocery shopping for them.
